People use Text-Em-All to deliver important text messages to their contact groups. In some cases, these messages are just announcements or alerts that don't require a reply. However, messages can also be used to engage contacts.
Notifications are a great way to help manage replies and incoming text messages.
How it works
Within the Notifications page of your account, you can set up, pause, resume, or remove a notification.
You can choose to receive notifications via email or text. Choose how often you’d like to receive these notifications and during which days and times.

When setting up your message, use the “personalization” option to add contacts’ first names, last names, notes, or other custom data to each message.

Occasionally, text numbers can be blocked by carriers when they suspect the number is sending spam or unwanted messages.
While you can’t be 100% sure your number won’t be blocked, there are some best practices you can follow to minimize the chances of this happening.
How it works
Clearly state your audience (i.e. employees, members) in your message. | |
Avoid using URL shorteners like bit.ly or tinyURL | |
Don’t include a callback number that’s different from the number you’re sending the message from | |
Minimize usage of all caps and excessive punctuation (e.g. THANKS, ASAP, @, %, !!!, ???) |
Should your number be blocked, Text-Em-All has processes in place to get you back up and running again as soon as possible.

Did you know Text-Em-All provides detailed delivery results for your text broadcasts?
Use these results to quickly understand if your messages were delivered, rejected for spam, sent to unreachable phones, sent to the carrier but not to the handset, and more.
How it works
After sending a broadcast, our system will collect the results of each message from the end carrier (e.g. AT&T, Verizon). You can use these results to improve future broadcasts.

How it works
Text-Em-All users are able to send outbound MMS images as .JPG or .PNG attachments in broadcasts or from within conversations.

You may also share text templates with other users to allow them to edit and use the text template. Users cannot delete text templates that have been shared and cannot share text templates with other users.

To use SMS keywords, simply create a memorable word or phrase that your contacts can text to you. The keyword will trigger an automatic message that you create.
How it works
1. Navigate to the Automation > Keywords page.2. Click the Add a Keyword button
3. Type your keyword.
4. Type your message.
5. Select a text number you want to assign the keyword to.
6. Click Create Keyword.

Keywords are currently only available on the Pay-As-You-Go credits plan. Each keyword may trigger only one time every 12 hours per contact. This will prevent contacts from triggering your automated reply repeatedly and possibly using up your credits. You may have unlimited keywords.

Auto replies can be used to help you warn contacts about unmonitored inboxes, set away messages, or provide important information to your contacts.
How it works
1. Navigate to your Automation > Auto Replies page.2. Click the Add an Auto Reply button.
3. Select when you'd like your auto-reply sent.
4. Type your message.
5. Click Save to finish.
