How does Text-Em-All compare to EZ Texting?
Text-Em-All is a pay-as-you-go and monthly mass texting platform that handles operational messaging and SMS marketing from a single account, with voice broadcasting included. EZ Texting is a subscription-based SMS marketing platform priced by contact list size, built around campaign and template tools for retail and marketing sends. Text-Em-All fits organizations that need both alerts and promotions in one place; EZ Texting fits marketing-only campaigns.
Where Text-Em-All and EZ Texting differ
Pay for what you send, or pay for a contact tier
Text-Em-All credits never expire, and there is no monthly fee on the Credits plan. Organizations with seasonal or unpredictable sending only pay in the months they actually send.
EZ Texting prices plans by contact list size, not by how much you send. Each plan includes 500 monthly credits. On monthly billing, unused credits roll over for one additional billing cycle, so they're usable for up to two months. On annual billing, credits are issued upfront and expire 12 months after purchase.
Text and voice, or text only
Text-Em-All includes voice broadcasts, text-to-speech, and combo broadcasts that automatically call numbers that can't receive a text, a form of automated calling that reaches landlines and non-texters.
EZ Texting does not offer voice broadcasting. It is a text-only platform; a "text-to-landline" feature converts SMS delivery for landline numbers but does not place voice calls or broadcasts.
What you pay beyond the sticker price
Text-Em-All has no per-user fee, no per-number fee, and no carrier surcharge pass-through.
EZ Texting charges $10 per month for each additional seat. The Launch plan adds a $5 monthly telecom fee, waived on Boost, Scale, and Enterprise. Carrier pass-through fees are billed separately on all plans, and additional phone numbers are priced on request rather than published.

How pricing compares
Both platforms list a starting price, but the factors that determine your bill differ. Text-Em-All bills for what you send. EZ Texting bills for the size of your contact list, with credits and fees layered on top.
Text-Em-All pricing
Credits start at 9 cents and drop with volume, down to about 5 cents per credit. Monthly plans start at $19. Unlimited users, free additional numbers, carrier surcharges are included, and credits never expire.

EZ Texting pricing
EZ Texting has four plans priced by contact list size:
-
Launch ($25/mo, up to 500 contacts)
-
Boost ($75/mo, up to 2,000)
-
Scale ($125/mo, up to 50,000)
-
Enterprise ($3,000/mo, 50,000+, with a dedicated short code).
Annual billing takes 20% off the first three tiers. Each plan includes 500 monthly credits, with overage credits running 1 to 4 cents depending on plan. MMS messages cost 3 credits instead of 1.
A worked example
Let's say a retailer with 2,100 opted-in SMS marketing subscribers sends one seasonal flash-sale campaign to the full list, then stays quiet the next month while building the next promotion.
Text-Em-All
That campaign costs 2,100 texts at 9 cents each, or about $189. The next month costs $0 while the campaign calendar is empty. The bill has nothing to do with how many people are on the list, only how many texts actually go out.
The result is two months for about $189 total, priced entirely on usage.
EZ Texting
A 2,100-subscriber list doesn't fit Boost's 2,000-contact cap, so the account is assigned to Scale at $125/mo, which includes 500 credits. The campaign uses the other 1,600 credits in overage at 3 cents each, about $48, so the send month runs $173.
The next month, with no campaign planned, still bills $125, because the plan is priced by list size, not by whether a campaign goes out. Carrier pass-through fees apply on top of that, billed separately at actual cost.
Two months will cost you about $298, plus carrier pass-through fees.
Assumes a single user seat and no dedicated short code. Adding team members costs $10/mo each on every EZ Texting plan. Accounts on the Launch plan also pay a $5/mo telecom fee.
This is the real difference between the two pricing models for a marketing sender. EZ Texting sizes your bill to how many subscribers you have. Text-Em-All sizes your bill to how many campaigns you actually run. For an organization that runs promotions seasonally rather than every single month, that is not a marginal difference.

Which platform fits your organization?
Choose Text-Em-All if you...

EZ Texting may fit if you...
- Run marketing-only campaigns for a smaller, stable contact list and don't need voice or emergency alerting.
- Want built-in AI message drafting and a stock image library for MMS.

What customers say
Text-Em-All handled the signup and telcom authorization with ease. I just entered my info, waited for them to clear me, and composed my message. It was simple to upload my delivery list via Excel. The messages were transmitted quickly and included delivery verification. Simple and effective. Reasonable price too.

Text-Em-All has been an incredibly helpful tool for our youth soccer organization. With more than 100 players and families to keep informed, it allows us to quickly send practice updates, game reminders, schedule changes, weather cancellations, and other important announcements to everyone at once.
Tammy
Text-em-all has been great. When I called customer service, a real person answered the phone and was very helpful. They even followed up and called me back to make sure everything was corrected and working properly. I sent a test message yesterday, and it took 37 seconds before everyone started receiving it. We will be extending our service with Text-Em-All.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is Text-Em-All cheaper than EZ Texting?
It depends on your contact list size and sending pattern. EZ Texting's entry tier can be competitive for a small, stable list with light sending. Once your list or sending volume grows, Text-Em-All's pay-as-you-go credits and lack of per-seat fees tend to close the gap or come out ahead. Run the math on the cost calculator.
-
What does Text-Em-All offer that EZ Texting doesn't?
Voice broadcasting, combo text-and-voice delivery, unlimited free users and numbers, credits that never expire, and no carrier surcharge pass-through.
-
Does Text-Em-All support SMS marketing, or just alerts and reminders?
Both. Text-Em-All handles promotional SMS marketing, including drip campaigns, opt-in list building, and segmentation, on the same account used for operational messages like shift alerts and appointment reminders. You don't need a separate platform to run a marketing campaign.
-
Can I try Text-Em-All for free?
Yes. A free account includes test credits and requires no credit card. Mass texting requires a plan and completed carrier registration.
-
Does Text-Em-All charge per user or per phone number?
No. Both are free on every plan.
-
How long does it take to switch?
You can create an account and import contacts today. Carrier registration takes one to two days, then you're ready to send.
